BEHIND THE DESIGNS

The Firefly Jar feels like a third child to me. At at time when many felt shackled indoors during the Covid pandemic, I found my stress release to be design. I spent hours drifting into pixels and colors - and then suddenly, the idea struck. The idea to tie in two things I'm extremely passionate about; design & organization!

 

I grew up amidst a multitude of cultures far removed from my birth culture. It exposed me to ideas, beauty and concepts both foreign, yet authentic - truly, a cherished space to navigate and grow within. ♥

 

Along with the vastness of exposure, comes life skills like learning how to weed through & focus, find your own voice, dial down & and compartmentalize, - otherwise you'd be lost swimming in vast waters.  Maybe that was the root for my keenness towards staying organized, and finding ways to preserve  the varied thoughts, memories & ideas? :)
